The Orion is an independent, student-run weekly newspaper distributed every Wednesday at Chico State. The Orion provides student perspectives on news, sports, features and entertainment for the university and the greater Chico area. Introduced in 1975, The Orion was created to provide a training ground for students interested in journalism, photography, advertising, marketing, graphic design
and production.
