TGC: Agency Experience;
Multi-platform Storytelling
By Veronica Richardson
Tehama Group Communications, Chico State's student-run public relations agency, is going strong and rising to the demand of its real-world clients for more online and visual content.
The team had six clients during fall 2013 ranging from community organizations and local businesses to university departments. The diverse nature of the clients meant that each required different strategic needs and services from the TGC student teams assigned to them.
TGC, which has been part of J&PR since 1990, worked on the following accounts during fall 2013:
College of Communication and Education:
The team worked created the annual "season's greetings" postcard that was sent out to alumni, donors and friends of Chico State's College of Communication and Education. The card also was sent as an email version and can be seenhere. (Hyperlink to card image)
UMatter:
This was a spring and fall 2013 client for the agency. The program is aimed at raising awareness for emotional and physical self-care at Chico State. TGC assisted in creating posters, videos, flag banners and social media guidelines for the UMatter campus campaign.
Journalism Wired:
Journalism Wired is the annual electronic newsletter for the department of journalism and public relations. The team produced content, photos and videos for this website.
Chico Art Center:
