Honey Run Covered Bridge

A brief History of Honey Run Covered Bridge

Honey Run Covered Bridge was located in Butte Creek Canyon, midway between Chico and Paradise. It spanned Butte Creek from 1887 until Nov. 8, 2018, when it was destroyed in the early hours of the Camp Fire.

The bridge was the only surviving example of a three-span covered bridge in the United States and had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1988.
